Editorial Policy
Learn more about the MoneyMooring Editorial Team and our review process.
Accuracy and sourcing
Our guides are grounded in publicly documented product mechanics, regulatory rules (FDIC, NCUA, CFPB and state insurance regulations, among others) and widely reported market data. Where we cite figures — rates, fees, typical ranges — we present them as indicative, because financial product pricing changes frequently. We do not fabricate statistics, and we prefer ranges over false precision.
Independence
If MoneyMooring introduces advertising or sponsored search units, they will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Advertisers have no input into what we cover, what we conclude, or how we rank options. We do not accept payment for positive coverage.
What we will not publish
- Individualized financial, legal or tax advice.
- Guarantees of returns, approvals or outcomes.
- Content promoting products we believe are structurally harmful to consumers.
Updates and corrections
Articles carry a visible "Updated" date. Material corrections are made as soon as verified; readers can report errors through our contact page.
Use of automation
We use software tools, including AI assistance, in drafting and research. Every published guide is reviewed and edited by a human editor for accuracy, clarity and completeness before it goes live.
